In a wine region steeped in history, you know you’re onto something special when you encounter the oldest, the first of its kinds. Cantina Andriano (or Kellerei Andrian), founded in 1893, is the oldest cooperative of winemakers in Alto-Adige, an area which, more than most, is dominated by social cooperatives. Today Cantina Andriano produces fresh, fruity, and mineral white wines with elegance and complexity in their youth that make them fantastic value for money. Ripe fruits, such as honeydew melon, lively mineral nose, and a soft and full palate, with a well-balanced long finish. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats; aging and maturation on fine lees for 6 months.
