Capreolus Distillery Chestnut Barrel Aged Apple Eau de Vie

We are delighted to have these eau de vie on our shelves, they are simply outstanding, each one crafted to capture the purest expression of the fruit.  Locally grown to us, these show the passion and meticulous attention to detail of their creator, Barney Wilczak.  From humble beginnings in a tiny distillery at the bottom of his garden, they are now very highly regarded and sought after by the best bars and restaurants around the world. Grown in local orchards, hand picked, graded and cleaned, the whole fruits are fermented rather than being pressed for cider. Maturation is in a single chestnut wood barrel. Fresh flesh of juice filled apples, sweetness balanced with long tannins and with further hints of tobacco, pastry and smoke.
