Dr Loosen is a family owned winery with over 200 years of history. The estate combine historical Grand Cru sites with the heritage of their ancestors to produce complex, world class wines that express the greatest qualities from the soil, climate and the grape varieties grown in the region. An intense, ultra-concentrated dessert wine made from hand-selected grapes that have been shrivelled about halfway to raisins by botrytis (the “Noble Rot”). This is a bright, refreshing style with green apple, white peach and lemon flavours. It’s rich and intense with superb racy acidity.
