Gaëlle and Jérôme Meunier are based in the village of Barizey, 5 miles from Mercurey. They also have parcels of vines on the Côte d’Or including some excellent parcels in Puligny-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru Champ Gain. The wines are rich and easy going in style with great balance and depth of fruit. The Mercurey is light and fruity and perfect now but will age beautifully for many years.
