An organic winery in southwest France, the vineyards lie equidistant between the Atlantic Ocean, The Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea, with the vines grown on half a million year old alluvial deposits. They gave up using pesticides and herbicides in 1992 and became certified organic in 2012, they grow grass cover between the vines and work sustainably. This is 90% Malbec from 30 year old vines, with a little merlot and tannat added. Only indigenous yeasts, oak aged and with the tiniest addition of sulphites possible. It is juicy and rich, balanced by spice and black fruits.
