From the Ionian coast on the toe of Italy’s boot sits the picturesque Cirò DOC, the home of Tenuta Del Conte. Deep lemon color with gold highlights from a little skin-contact; the nose shows intense aromas of ripe citrus, pears, quince, wild honey and ginger. On the palate, the flavors are expressive of aromatic herbs and bergamot, there is a leesy richness and a touch of umami too. The finish is long and persistent with mineral notes.
