Intro to Chateau Ferrages Roumery Rose Provence – Chateau Ferrages Roumery Rose from Provence is a delicious bright rose with a soft fruity nose and palate Full tasting note and wine making – Chateau Ferrages Roumery Rose from Provence is an elegant, bright and subtle rosé with a very pale rose petal hue. On the nose it has a fresh and fruity aromatic character with aromas of strawberry, grapefruit, citrus and peach. The palate is: fresh, well-balanced and smooth. Harvest is carried out by machine at night to preserve freshness and aromas. This rosé is the result of direct pressing and stabilisation on the fine lees. Fermentation is temperature-controlled and takes place at a low temperature in tanks and aging is carried out in stainless steel vats too. Chateau Ferrages is located in Pourcieux, between Aix-en-Provence and Saint-Maximinim. Part of the vineyards is planted on hillside plots, with part in prime plots of the Sainte-Victoire appellation. This area is recognized as one of the best for rosé production in southern France thanks to its corridor-like position, with cool afternoon breezes that freshen up the vineyards, retaining the good acidic profile in the grapes. The producer – The Chapoutier range encompasses some of the best appellations in France. The soul of the brand is the Rhône Valley that offers wines from everyday Tradition, through classic ‘Grand Crus’ of Prestige, to select wines of Excellence and experimental wines of Alchemy, all the way to true gems of the region in the Fac & Spera range. Southern France is represented by a set of discovery wines from Mathilde Chapoutier Sélection together with Domaine de Bila-Haut gems from Roussillon, Provence selection from Château des Ferrages and easy-drinking wines from Marius range. The comprehensive portfolio is completed by a selection of wines from Alsace and German side of the Rhine valley. Drink with – This wine is can be enjoyed chilled as an aperitif or paired with all summer-time dishes  including white meat, platter of “charcuterie”, salads, melon, Asian dishes, grills, etc.).
