This a wonderful, gastronomic wine, no surprise given that Cristophe Mittnacht’s wife, Yuka, is a talented Japanese chef. A dry, intense wine with hints of apple, peach and a touch of petrol on the nose, mouthwatering lime and citrus fruit on the palate, a stoney mineral edge and a zippy, zingy finish. Would go well with richer fish such as salmon and tuna, or pork.
