Sandridge Barton Figgie Daniel Col Fondo
$ 21.56
The Sandridge Barton vineyard was planted in 2008, 3 kilometres downriver from their original vineyard on the Sharpham Estate, and these vines now produce over 80 tonnes of grapes a year from 32 acres. They take a very gentle approach to growing grapes, being concious of the impact on the natural environment and don’t use pesticides or herbicides. This superb Col Fondo is fermented in bottle and bottled with its lees, it’s lemony, floral and lightly spritzy, with a gentle haze and plenty of character. Invert before opening to stir up the lees — then pour and enjoy the freshness, the fizz, and the fun.
