The wine has been aged using the canteiro method and produced from the single barrel. It has a lovely, fresh floral aroma, with notes of pine, apricot, ripe citrus, white raisins, caramel, and candied fruit. The sweetness is balanced by a spicy, fresh acidity, with a lingering finish. The grapes for this wine come from a very special, single-vineyard called Vinha da Torre, located in Campanario, the parish thought to have produced Boal grapes for the longest.
