This brilliant wine named after the winemakers excitable Labrador Lili, is treated simply, with fermentation and ageing taking place in stainless steel to preserve the flavours of the grapes, which are sourced from vineyards near Alenquer, just north of the city of Lisbon. This is their everyday wine for having with a meal, and as such is fairly easy going. Offering plenty of ripe, berry fruit character, a bit of chocolatey richness, good tannic structure, and fresh acidity. A perfect wine to have when you’re not quite sure what you’re going to have for dinner, or indeed when you are. We love it!
