Payten and Jones has always been a winery to follow its own path, they specialise in minimal intervention, natural farming and winemaking. This translates into styles which are fruit forward and very enjoyable, this Sangiovese is a perfecrt example of what they’re all about. Whilst being a fruit forward style with black plum and a little strawberry, leading to a lighly savoury finish but with structure and finesse to make sure it’t not simply a fruit bomb! Perfect for lamb or venison.
