A remarkable terroir-driven white full of interest. The grapes come from coastal vineyards in Sanlucar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Sata Maria, the former being the last vineyard before the beach! It gets a light skin contact, barrel-fermentation, and is aged in ex-Sherry, chestnut barrels, for just a couple of months. The Palomino brings concentration, structure, and mouthfeel, while the Arinto adds a citrus vibrancy to lift everything. The wine is textural, saline, and superbly balanced. Quite aromatic, a little pithy, and super fresh.
